Observation
An observation is a statement made by using your five senses in order to gain information. Examples June eats a lot of chocolate and has a lot of pimples. |
Inference
An inference is a conclusion reached using evidence and reasoning. Examples June has a lot of pimples because she eats a lot of chocolate. |
Hypothesis
A hypothesis is an educated prediction that can be supported or proven wrong by an experiment. Examples If June increases the amount she eats chocolate, then the amount of pimples on her face will increase. |
