Cell Analogy
Learning Goal: You can state the role of each part of a cell’s structure
How am I completing this task?
In this task you are to use the portal and its resources for the task "Model Cells: The Tiny Units of Life" and the modified cell analogy worksheet. You have examples from the reading in SS about cells and your cell function foldable and powerpoint. You also have examples of video projects below. In SS Lab, you will have an iPad with the cell and it will show you what it looks like and its function. Be sure to record the cell part and function in SS Lab. |
What organelles do I choose?
You may choose the organelles that you think are most important. However, you must include the following types of organelles. Cell membrane Mitochondria Nucleus Vacuole Ribosomes Cell wall Cell membrane |
What if I don't know what organelles or cells are?
Review this video. |
Here are some examples of student made cell analogies. Use these as a model. Feel free to create your cell analogy as a video too! That would be a level 4 or 5.
